January Clean Up

Greetings Fellow Grand Canal People, I hope it’s a wonderfully Happy New Year for everyone. This is the first Call to Clean Up of the New Year and I hope that the benign weather will encourage you out in the air this Saturday morning to spend some time along the Grand Canal Bank among like minded souls.

Once again, Joan Wadsworth has kindly agreed to lead the Clean Up. I have exams on Saturdays this month. Details are as follows:

*When? Saturday 5th Jan from 10am – 12noon

*Where? Meet at Leeson St. Bridge, the city side, at a canal bench.

*What? You’ll be using litter pickers to collect rubbish from along the banks of the Grand Canal.

*Do you need to bring anything? No, all you need to do is bring yourself and some energy. Joan will have litter pickers, rubbish bags and gloves for you to use.

*Cofffee? As always, Starbucks will be supporting our Clean Up work by providing us with a big pot of delicious coffee and biscuits to have in the open air when the work is done!

Regards
Breffnie O Kelly
